Hopkins Fastpitch is deeply committed to player development and improving the skills of all of our athletes.  This distinguishes us from other softball programs in the area.  While maintaining an emphasis on fun, we focus on teaching and developing the fundamental skills necessary to progress and succeed in the game of fastpitch softball.  Players in our program are offered a wide array of development opportunities throughout the year including:

Team Practices

We ensure that all of our teams have access to fields throughout the season for practice in addition to their games.  We believe skills are taught and developed in practice while games provide an opportunity to showcase those skills and gain valuable experience. 

Off Season Clinics

Hopkins fastpitch is the only community based softball program in the Hopkins School district to offer skill development opportunities throughout the off season and winter months. Our clinics focus on developing pitching, hitting, and fielding skills for players age 5 to 18 (players are grouped by age and ability).  

Coaches Training

Youth sports experiences are heavily influenced by the quality of coaching provided.  Hopkins Fastpitch is committed to training our coaches and parent helpers to ensure a quality experience for all of our players.  We provide a coaching curriculum, and our coaches are involved in our off season clinics. Coaches meeting and is tentatively scheduled for TBD.
